Q. I’m having problems signing in – what am I doing wrong?

There are two places to sign in – sorry that this is confusing it’s just because our subscriptions are handled by a third party so there’s a separate login.

1. Create a website account so you can download patterns on this website (click log in in the top right of the website)

2. Manage your subscription account – the one you created when you signed up to receive boxes – you can manage your account here.

Q. How do I get my exclusive password for the video tutorials?

The password for the first two boxes was emailed to subscribers. If you haven’t had yours, please contact crochetsociety@practicalpublishing.co.uk or call 0161 327 0441 – for all other boxes the password will be printed on a card inside the box.

Q. How do I get in contact with you?

You can speak to one of our lovely customer service team by contacting crochetsociety@practicalpublishing.co.uk or by calling 0161 327 0441 (9am-4pm Monday-Friday).

Q. Where do you ship to?

We can ship to the majority of countries around the world. Please note there are some exceptions, if your country is not listed on the checkout page, we are unfortunately unable to ship to you.

Q. How is my Crochet Society box delivered?

If you live in the UK your box will arrive 2-3 working days after it is shipped via the Royal Mail postal service. Please note the size of the box is larger than most standard letterboxes. You may need to arrange for your box to be left with a neighbour or be collected from your nearest post office or depot if you are not in when it arrives.

If you live outside of the UK you will receive your box through your local postal service. Delivery timescales vary from country to country based on the individual postal services and how they operate.

Delivery timescales are calculated from the date your box is shipped. Below are estimated timescales for the following regions:

Europe = 7-10 working days

USA = 10-14 working days

Rest of the World =  14-21 working days

Q. How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is included in the price for all customers, it’s all part of the great service of being a Crochet Society member.

Q. How do I place an order?

Ordering is quick and easy. Simply order online here.

Q. How do I pay?

When you join Crochet Society you can choose to pay by credit card or PayPal. To subscribe and pay every 1, 6 or 12 months you will need to select the continuous credit card option. Please note customers in the UK can use a debit card as well as a credit card on the continuous credit card payment option.

If you would prefer to pay for 6 boxes upfront and not automatically renew your subscription, you can do this using a credit card or PayPal.

Q. When will I get my first Crochet Society box?

We ship boxes after the 20th of each month. If you order between the 1st– 20th of the month your first box will be sent within the next two weeks. If you order between the  21st– 31st of the month your first box will arrive by the end of the following month. (For example, if you subscribed on the 21st February your first box will be sent by the 30th March).

When you place your order, you will be able to select the next available box to start your subscription from.

After your first box arrives you will then receive a box every month thereafter.

Q. When will my payment be taken?

Your first payment is taken when you place your first order.

Subsequent payments will be taken on or around the 11/12th of each month. If your payment has not been taken contact us at crochetsociety@practicalpublishing.co.uk so we can ensure you get your next box.

Your payments will be taken every 1, 6 or 12 months depending on which payment option you choose. If you choose to pay by continuous credit card your payments will continue to be claimed at these regular intervals until you decide otherwise.
